Unilink-S is a full-featured radio designed to seamlessly incorporate radio links into an
SDH network. The radio transports STM-1/OC-3 across a variety of frequencies from 6GHz to 40GHz,
and uses proprietary ASIC modem technology and a very high level of integration to attain low cost
and high performance and reliability.
The system features a fully compliant SDH/SONET regenerator and provides additional benefits
including automatic protection switching, in-band management using radio overhead, and tight
integration with existing SDH/SONET element management systems. The Unilink-S radio system meets
carrier-grade standards for reliability, quality, and environmental compliance.
